Rachel Sumekh’s Bio:
Rachel Sumekh is the Founder and CEO of Swipe Out Hunger. The organization, which began as a college pet project, has served 1.3 million meals and was called a Champion of Change by The White House. Rachel was recognized on the 2017 Forbes’ 30 Under 30 for Social Entrepreneurship.
After graduating from UCLA, Rachel followed her millennial urge to change the world and served those facing poverty as a case manager in Chicago. In her spare time, she enjoys advising early stage social entrepreneurs, jogging around Echo Park Lake and challenging the status quo of what it means to be a Typical Persian Girl.
